Shane qualified with 1st class honours in Physiotherapy from Brunel University, London (2013) and initially worked in the NHS where he progressed to work as a Senior Musculoskeletal & Orthopaedics Physiotherapist. With a previous degree in Sport & Exercise Sciences (2009) from the University of Limerick and work experience in professional rugby, soccer and GAA, Shane brings expertise in the areas of strength & conditioning and injury prevention.

Shane also works as a Senior Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist in Beacon Hospital, Dublin. He has worked with numerous sports teams including; London Senior Hurling Team (2014), St Jude’s Senior Hurling Team (2018) & the Laois Senior Hurling Team (2020). Shane achieved a distinction in his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy from University College Dublin (2019).

Shane specialises in musculoskeletal and sports injuries, as well as rehabilitation pre and post orthopaedic surgery. He has previously run community based stroke rehab and falls prevention classes. He has a keen interest in designing strength & conditioning and injury prevention programmes for recreational and elite athletes alike.

Aaron qualified with 1st class honours in Athletic Therapy in South East Technological University (Formerly IT Carlow) in 2017. He then began clinical and team work while completing his PhD in rehabilitation science with a key focus on clinical communication and maximising patient outcomes. He now divides his time between Athletic Therapy work alongside lecturing on the Athletic Therapy program in SETU Carlow.

Aaron has amassed a vast array of experience in elite sports, including individual athletes, NCAA Division 1 collegiate settings along with being the Athletic Therapist to the Kilkenny Senior Hurlers since 2017, which is where he and Shane met.

In clinic, Aaron takes time to get to know you as a person, carefully delve into the factors which may have led to your injury, and design with you, a path back to where you want to be.

Aaron’s clinical interests are sporting injuries and the rehabilitation of many musculoskeletal conditions with progressive exercise programs, injury prevention strategies and maximising anybody’s physical wellness.
